  • Via Ferrata Lanyards

    Via Ferrata Lanyards

On Via Ferrata you use lanyards specially designed for via ferratas! It's logical and more importantly, it's for your life! These include two carabiners with a two-finger opening system.

We don't want you to climb with two basic carabiners and static lines. This is crazy, ok and the best way to have an accident or to even die! Either you or the carabiners will brake. It already happened and it brings a bad image for the via ferrata world!

  • Via Ferrata: What Parents should know

Via Ferrata: What parents should know!

More and more families are using via ferratas as a way to discover the mountains. Young children can now climb mountains that it would be impossible for them to do so without via ferratas.

Nonetheless, where do we set the limitis for our children, how far is it possible to go, how can we go up via ferratas safely and especially with respect?

  • Your Harness for Via Ferrata

    Your Harness for Via Ferrata

Choose a harness that is adjustable at the thighs and at the waist. For luxury and comfort pick one that is padded!

Start off by tightening the harness at your waist (be sure it's closed correctly) and then you can adjust the legs.

Close all the buckles vigorously. There should not be too much empty space between your body and the harness. The tighter it is, the better you are protected. But of course you still need to be able to breathe!!!
